dbn tuner

Post by ESSEXY-ZN »

sup guys. need some advice... called up mr steve clark from no sweat to drop in a det. price he gave me is outa my budget. so will do things in stages. would reli love to do it with a goodtuner like him from the work ive seen from his shop. anyway after spending months in my beloved car i DONT wana lose the aircon n climate control etc. as some managements cant run them. steve sugested haltech and says all equipment in car will still work. what i would like is RELIABILTY OVER POWER but at the same time dont want a dud of a car. i want someone who will appreciate my car while its in their shop and not abuse it while im away, an honest tuner willing to do the conversion without ripping me off. like i said i would like to do things in stages an adapt to my vehicle as i go along. anyone can suggest someone who can do the conversion, id prefer a tuner who knows more or less what hes doing and not trial n error person as i dont have that kind of cash to throw at a car at this stage. thanks for any help

let your std management control abs, aircon, rev counter and let management control spark and fuel. this also alows you to change back to std whenever you want. there are always options , its just how you look at it. Remember charging what ones time is worth is not ripping the person off ,the person is receiving your knowledge and expertise. My lawyer, doctor and accountant al feels the same way , good tuners probably feel so too. lol

you could alsorun a unichip q+ with a turbo module without losing faetures. use bigger injectors and airflow metre. we took a n/a golf4 with aftermarket turbo (gt2871r) to over 200kw at the wheels, should be ok for your daily driver.

I have a stand alone management system and have fitted plenty to 200SX's and they all retain their stock features...

good for you. i have seen quite a few hack jobs and if this guy is working on a budget then a uni-q is probably a good bet. we all have different budgets but the trick is being able to make the customer happy within his budget. just my 1/2 cent . lol
