Depends on if your car will be used as a daily drive or a weekend car.

If daily then dicktator is not your best bet. Go-tech Ive heard has some more feutures but I dont kow much about them.

My suggestion would be Apexi.....cant go wrong! Expensive but worth it. Save your money and do it right. You can get a secondhand unit for a good price and its plug and play!

Then rather keep it stock till you have the cash for a decent system.

It all depends on the tuner, my tuner uses dicktator and tuned his dayly V8 bakiie to give him 8km p/l, he has no probs, it all comes down to the installer and tuner..

Stock ECU's are always better cause they have all the protection features when things go wrong even with a UniQ or software upgrade, but on the downside they can be expensive when something pops, Air Flow Meter, Map Sensor, TPS, etc.

So only look at installing a Full Stand Alone if there is no other way out.
Not sure about your guys Stock ECU's but you might loose sequential fueling which makes a big difference on fuel consumption and low down torque.
