So ive come to predicament i had swopped my 17" rims for 18" that looked much better and in all the excitement i didnt check the pcd so now ive got a 4x100 4x108 pcd wheel that wont fit the sx. Now ive been researching that re drilling the HUBS is not in question or is it has anyone done it ive sent the hubs to mag repairs and they say they can do it but im scared its a complete stuff up cause im gana use the car for drifting in the future and don't want the wheels to fall off around a corner so if anyone has done it will it work or am i playing with fire as some people would say!
And another thing im thinking about re drilling the front hubs only then getting adapters for the rear which in turn will also bring the wheel out abit will this be the better option?
shot guys much help will be much appreciated

Awesome thanks cause im thinking about the 25mm adapters that i can get from kaihatsu factory in capetown then just drilling the front hubs to fit 4x108.
So if i get adapters what would i have to change suspension wise?

thanks for the help guys but gone against it and got my old wheels back but alas the car will be finished sooner and i wont crap myself everytime i take a corner hahaha.
O my conclusion about the drilling of Hubs well dont even try it its not recommended rather spare some cash and get yourself some adapters or get 5 stud hubs, thanks anyway.

We are pretty much testing redrilled hubs at the moment. The dc crx has had its hubs drilled from 4 to 5 stud and done in a way to make it maintain its strength by our engineer.
If you hear nothing from me you can assume its safe if done properly. But if it doesn't work you will be the first to know.
u can redrill to a different pcd if done correctly.the reason guys hardly redrill sx hubs is cause these soooo little meat behind them.if its 4 stud u have(s13) and u wanna redrill to 5stud (s14) the hubs are thicker only were the studs are pressed in.so by changing the pcd ull end up having to drill and press in a stud were the hub is thin. and here is the dangerous part were the studs can come undone. we done loads of redrills but these are on bakkies were the hubs are thick as hell so theres no problem there. ive done it on beetle adaptores and flat beetle drumswere i have 4x100,5x120, 5x114 all on the same hub/drum but in all of these they were done properly and the hubs are thick enough. like the others have said save up for 5 stud hubs and save yours self from some nasty ass headaches.
