Heat wrap?
Hey guys wanted to know can you put heat wrap around a s14 sr20det exhaust manifold and if so how?
My LuGnuts have more torque than your honda.
EX=toyota corolla 160i 93'model

Oh ok kwl can please guide me as how to do it? Its not the tublar mani fold its the one that is one unit al the tubes are connected. Oh ernest checked out your drift vids on you tube its insane.

No real point in it with a cast manifold bud, only really beneficial with a tubular manifold and when you do it to a tub mani always make sure every inch is covered so as not to allow hot spots.

Because the heat under my hood is crazy i rev to 6000rpm twice and the engine bay is chili hot and that cant be good so trying to think of ways to lower underhood temp was thinking of a turbo blanket.

You can turbo blanket Kyle. But I would suggest your next mod to be water and meth kit. And get the car mapped again at Dynotec by Isak.

Is the heat in the engine bay cauising issues? What are you comparing the engine bay heat to?
Want a quick fix? Raise the rear of the bonnet if it really concerns you.

Heat in the engine bay should not be any concern in that car. Its got some proper ducting infront at the intercooler.
I personally wouldnt lift the rear of the bonnet. Screws with the flow of the air. Air is suppose to come in the front and exit at the trans tunnel under the car.
By raising the hood your causing the air to all of a sudden take a different route and move from under the engine to over the engine.
Ive seen so many cars running warmer instead of cooler. Rather makes some proper vents in the bonnet for proper cooler.
Just my 2c, sure there is allot of people that dissagree with me on this topic.
Kyle, previous owner of the car had the bonnet slightly lifted, car ran warmer - dropped the hood to stock and ran cooler.

you hardly get people out there willing to go out there way for somebody thanks again will let you know as soon as my clutch is fitted will do, just got my clutch last week trying to get cash to have it fitted as i starded my clothing company so money tight
