In your opinion would you say there's a diff between shell 95 and bp 95 in terms of engine performance and effeciency?

I run BP only in my SX... 95 octane. Gets me more KM than shell ever did in both my Wifes Getz (93) and my SX (95). Performance wise, none I have used felt different on power, only once I hit the coast with an NA car on 97 do I feel difference....

I guess 95 octane is the way forward then cos I've been using 93 octane (previous owners advice) and things weren't going smoothly

I'll add my 2c here:

I have a 1.6i 'rolla
I have gone through a test stage where I tested all the brands on her
BP gives you more kilometers, especially on the long roads.
I felt Shell did have that little bit of extra omf!, but not nearly comes close to the consumption of any of the others.
I currently Run Only Engen. 93 daily, due to the price, but if I know I will be doing long distance(more than 250KM) I put some 95.
Engen and BP gave me the same kilometers on Long/short distance and on racing.

Most of the other brands(excl. Shell,BP and Engen) started giving me trouble just after half tank, spluttering and not adding to the same amount of Km as the first half.

Only reason Why I use Engen is that is is Local and Not an Import - other wise I would be using BP.
Yes I am one of those that wish to see the petrol price halved by not supporting the overseas markets.
