Yeah its the bumper, but if you looked from the same angle in your pics it would look the same.
look at the drawing. The air goes through the IC and out the vent at the top, and through the rad and down under the car

Re: V-Mount
oh haha my bad i had something else in mind then ok so now why cant you simply move the radiator straight back instead of the angle,, reason i say this is it would simplify all the work needed,,
Run 2 bracket's that the rad mount's on the bottom and 2 that mount the rad and the cooler?

Re: V-Mount
So a upside down L ? (if that makes sense lol)
It would probably work, but you will have to make ducting to get the air that went through the rad (which is now warm) through the IC. that and the loss in air velocity would make it less efficient.

Re: V-Mount
It is a good mod and aids cooling to both the rad and intercooler better than the usual intercooler in front of the radiator.
It's overkill for lowly modded cars but highly modded cars and track cars it is deffinately benificial.
And let's not forget, it's cool as hell

Re: V-Mount
I actually decided this morning that whilst I'm upgrading my turbo to the 2871R I will be doing this now.
I have measured up everything roughly and will be getting the IC and piping made up soon hopefully.
