There are a couple of people that are just importing to make some money. There are many gullible persons willing to buy these cars that will never last in this country.
I was offered an incredibly clean and low km,s Gts in exchange for my S14. Upon further inquiry It was made very clear that I could never register the car here legally. A brilliant car but not for me..

I`m talking about the guy advertising ANYTHING from Japan mentioned in the link above.

I phoned a chap , Andre, from Pretoria who was selling R32 and R33`s for R60 to 80 K. off Gumtree.. He will give you the car, papers, and that`s it. Oh, as a favour he will hook you up with a phone number of a guy "who can register it for you for a fee".. Ja, not interested thanks dude.

my s15 is not reg. to be honest i bought the car for my own enjoyment. im only 22 and have a car ive always wanted.im also not trying to defeat the ends of justice by getting it registerd here illegally. i use it now and then to avoid atention on the roads but being proud of my CHEAP car i flaunt it at events. sure it may not have all the fancy bits now, but everything in time. iv already startd ordering stuff from import parts. but what im trying to get at is, dont put the guy down. not everyone has money to put down for a gtr. so if that was what his budget allowed him to get and SARS approved it with all the required docs. then let it be. envy is not good. the post is spose to be about his project. let the guy flaunt abit. not flaming anyone. jus saying... anyway cheers.

You missing the point
We all love cars and im not envious one bit, im just giving Vegatta a warning that things are not what they seem and when the shit hits the fan his money will get crushed ,if you have a permit does not make it legal , its too late now anyways as the car is on the water. I have friends who have and are still dealing with SARS for there LEGAL GTR's and are going through major shit for collectables that are allowed in so i cant imagine what wil happen here when sars get invoved and you have to PROVE the car is a collectable when its not even on the list.
@Essexy ,i love the S15 and be careful please ,sars are at the events and if your car is on the road it will get taken away

About the badge thing, I suppose you can put what ever you like on your car while it is yours.

Luckily we know you to be a honest man and when the time comes to sell it on you wont pass it as a GT-R like some of the guys do on Gumtree etc.
