So u recon a nistune management system, FMIC, aliminium boost pipes, walbro fuel pump will get my baby running nicely an healthier? What would the price range be on all of that? If u have them
My ca18 has an overfueling issue, has 190k on the clock. Wat could be the most probable cause; leaking injectors, bad fuel pump or faulty ecu? Open to other suggestions as well. And where can i get parts and a reliable person to fit them?
HAHAH i would need about R5000 jst for the petrol to get down there. Dont you wanna come set up shop here in jhb, you'd make a lot jst from my car alone.
haha, a boost leak is when air is escaping from your pipes somewhere, in effect the afm is measuring a certain amount of air but the engine is actually getting less air than measured and therefore overfueling.
well everytime i get on the boost the petrol needle slowly heads south, irrespective of how long i'm on the boost for. Basically everytime the bov goes off the petrol needle goes down. And wen i switch the car off i hear what sounds like bubbles in the fuel tank, like the fuel is going back from the engine into the tank which is what leads me to believe that maybe the fuel pump is faulty
And the second reason is that i know for a fact that a 1.8 four cylinder engine with a t28 turbo boosting very low cannot possibly consume as much fuel as mine does. I mean the car is basically stock. T28 turbo, bov, fmic, free flow exhaust and slightly bigger pipes are all the engine upgrades that have been made to the engine so it maketh no sense why it drinks fuel like a Veyron
