Once you've felt LFS with a steering wheel you'll understand why the drifting in GT5 is crappy and vague. LFS really has the physics of the tyres down to an art. I just couldn't drift in GT5, you have to really force the car to drift as you would expect it to in real life. Once the car has set in a drift, you have to wiggle the steering wheel to feel where your grip levels are, and to get an idea of when the car is going to return. In LFS, the steering is spot-on, and the way the car behaves is a lot more accurate. The graphics aren't that impressive, but once you're immersed in the game it doesn't really matter.
