The BC setup was way to low. Yes, looked the dogs danglies but there was zero droop at the rear.Front was bouncing .
Re adjusted the center mean for the projected ride height and the lifted the front by 25mm and the rear by 30mm.
What an incredible difference ! I now have a working suspension !
A free plus here is that the bump steer also disappeared

Ride quality is great.
great to hear :D

Previous ride height, looked very lekka..!

New preferred ride height, still looks good but most importantly, the suspension is now working properly.

Now this one surprised me totally !
The car had a reducer on the front of the turbo intake from 100mm down to 76mm, into a short pipe and then a cone filter.I looked at it and thought nothing much of it but tagged it for a later upgrade.
After the suspension yesterday I tackled the intake..Had bought those horrible chinese intake pipes but was the only ones I could get in 100mm and of course a BMC cone..Fitted these and thought nothing more of them.
I did try and keep everything out of the radiator flow path so that I could get as much cool air as possible to it. Unfortunately we all know that under bonnet is maar kak warm at the best of times...

Going home last night I see the AEM showing very lean mixtures ! This morning into work, same thing again..Gave her a bit of a run on the highway and faaaark !! This engine is really sweet..
I can only put it down to the intake making a very large difference to the breathing here..Time will tell..

Yea, don't worry about the compressor outlet pipe, that is as a result of the new mountings...sorting that out after I finish here... 8)

What can the RB25 stock motor rev to RELIABLY ??

I was coming home tonight with my mate and his Scoob, giving it horns, bouncing of the limiter when suddenly the Scoob dissapears behind me. In a cloud of my oil smoke !
Must have pumped at least a liter of oil out the breather over flow from the head. Is this normal ?
Does the RB suffer from oil build up in the cam box or was this simply blow by pressurizing the engine ?

Must say I was hammering the engine badly. Thought she would take it no probs..

Oh no that doesnt sound good,my rb26 did the same thing.turned out that the turbo exploded went thru the head and found a new home on my pistons.ended up breaking two pistons hence the sump compression...hope that. Not the case barry.sorry to hear this.does it spit oil now if you rev it?thru the little nozzle on the right of the tappet cover?

all RB motors suffer from oil build up in head when revved for prolonged periods

needs oil restrictor : http://www.rawbrokerage.com/Tomei-Oil-G ... ilrest.htm

also, Tobie with the gtr sells a oil drain kit for the rb motors, very common and not really a issue, my motor(rb25 sx) would breath quite alot on track day, then run a 11.2sec 1/4 following weekend, doesnt automatically indicate that its fu#ked...

my stock motor happily reved 8000rpm... build rb 8800 at 1.8bar breathed alot at hih rpm, but still going strong today
