car overheating an doesnt wana start.

My car runs nicely except 4 the problem that it keeps over heating.it doesn't do it immediately, it takes about 45min of driving then gets 2 the red.it also feels like It isn't sending petrol threw.it shudders then when I stop it just cuts out an won't start again.it also takes a while 2 get it started again.it swings an all but just doesn't wana start.what could the problems be????????????

It wont start, the fact that its still going is a miracle! It seems like your cooling system aint doing its work, check your water system 1st and your fans

Incorrect timing you can check by turning your CAS to figure out where it runs best, just be carefull with that, use timing light and set to spec.

Boost leak you can check all the vacume lines as well around the intake manifold, these tend to pop off, especially the one by the firewall, cable ties will become your best friend young padawan learner...

Also check your water pump..... Check no leaks...... Check Thermostat, if this konks out it will over heat your motor it's self and can boil water till radiator cracks......
