thats the thing, i love to hear the revs climb with the RB, but if you drive of boost etc i would think you would get about +- 100kms less with the rb, probly around 400kms a tank, more with a really good tune/ecusmoothedgp wrote:Now there lie's the problem,i love the sound of that rb under rev's so much i never tried to drive it to save fuel.recon i'll do that this weekend.
if you do a VERY std RB swop (std intake plenum, clutch etc) i think you could do it for +- 40k
also you can sell your sr and whatever else you take out to get some money back
but if you looking at fuel economy i dont think any sx is good, i didnt even get 500kms a tank with my CA18
btw you getting some good kms per tank
Time to nut up or shut up. RB25DET S13 (sold)

Seriously guys.
What do you guys think would be the best?
Building the SR or fit a RB?
What would be the most cost effective?

im a SR fan... but it depends on what you want to do with the car... if its just number hunting and you have more money than most.. then go RB.
Ive also been wanting to get about 300 wkw out of my SR... in two weeks i should have it back, and then we'll see if all the parts and cash ive put into it will make it...

STAY SR , build it, upgrade all that needs to be upgraded and make sure you dont break the box...........VegetaSSJ4 wrote:Seriously guys.

thats its the best option
FACT ,a gt3076 WILL break the gearbox. ALL the Rezlo high powered SR's have broken there SR boxes and are running RB fat boxes
