Giveaway 4x Stock SX rims

Hi,

Got 4x stock S13 rims to give away, fair cond with tyres, think the center caps are missing.

Only catch is you collect and you take 3x E36 15" rims too.

Moving house and they need to get gone soon.

Have you heard the story of my S14? (bet you thought I hung around here for the conversation, but sadly no, I did have and S14 and a S13 once) 1995 S14 with 120k kms on the clock. Bought for R80k (which at that stage was a hectic premium, you could get a 1997 for 70k) because the paintwork was mint ...

I can tell you why you've having radiator hoses blow, the car is overheating, its overheating because the visco fan has no cowling and air is just swirling around instead of going through the radiator... Also if you paid R65k for the car, there should be NO issues with it, as in 0.000 or you got rip...

I agree with Guy, sounds like an open diff...

Nissan SA has a habit of throwing the production specs out the window, you might find that they thought because we have a sub saharan climate the diffs might need extra cooling and fitted all the diffs covers with fins.

seriously the propshaft will be locked but you will have only the diff working. hence the non viscous gear diff will just spin internally with no brake but the viscous diff will try to brake the effect (slip). (dont try this at home) - if you jack up one wheel and start the engine and engage a gear...

Now you're thinking :P

If its broken then it doesnt matter, nice part is you can get one off a 200sx then, there are always 1 or 2 floating around.

sup , just jack up the rear so that both rear tires are off the ground , and turn one wheel if the other wheel rotates in the oppsite direction then you got a VLSD, if both spin in the same direction then you got a normal diff, hope this helps , lets us know what you got I think you got your diffs ...

This has been covered before Draco, DUH!!!!

Its easy, you stop infront of a church on a sunday, rev the car to 7000rpm, drop the clutch, if you leave 2 stripes its VLSD, if you leave 1 its open...
