Hi, sorry to hear about this.

You have a few obsions, most engineering places can scim the head and pressure test it, as for the steal HG, youd most propably need to contact one of the import companies/guys on the site, it's around R1100-1200 for a MLS head gasget or you could go for a copper gasget for around R650, got a place that cuts them.

if your sx is nit modded, fit Payne... it's affordable.

if you wanna fit MLS. skeem head and block if possible and fit ARP as 20 year old stock bolts might not hold torque for MLS.

If you go for the copper gasget you will have to go for arp's, in general it needs to be over torqued, the mls gasgets does not really nead over torqing, the standard bolts will go to 110 nm no problem which is more than you need, but arp's is always good.

just remember arp's comes with some difficulty, the studs makes it more difficult to pull head and put it back because of the leangth, also need to adapt a special long socket, needs to fit into the head, that means a 13 must be either milled down to 17mm on the outside ot ground down, you also need a 3/16'th allen key to turn the studs in and out...that info's gonna cost you buddy!!! :)
