ecu options

Post by smash!! »

morning guys just picked up my 1992 nissan 200sx with a ca18det . \

im kinda new to this car so wanted to know a few things i have a dicktator lying around its an std i have a brand new t3/t4 garret hybrid turbo, walbro fuel pump, fuel surge tank, bigger ic, new boost pipes, new hks dv,tial 38mm wastegate, just looking for a top mount turbo mani, new 76mm mm down pipe.

car is still 100% stock can i run the dicktator std on the ca18 and then add all these mods and boost .9 bar ? i will be saving up for new forge internals i would like 200wkw or a bit more couldnt hurt will i be able to achive 200wkw on stock internals . :D

thanks in advance 8)

200 is reachable on stock internals but dont think on stock injectors and anything over 200 on stock internals is not to safe for you motor is the diktator a wasted spark?

i would say skip the dicktator and use nistune to tune the stock ecu
much less hassels, everything will still work, no butchering your wiring, and no stupid hal pickup

Use Nistune. The std internals can handle 200wkw, but just not by adding boost. If you want the motor to last you'll have to look at watermeth.

For 200wkw you will have to increase injector size, 440cc-550cc will do the trick.

As far as I know there is only some forum members that import it themselves, pay the licence and install and tune themselves, I don't know of a tuner, so they would be your only local support in regard to installing and tuning.

If you dont come right with PFB, I'm more than likely gonna get stuf from Nistune in a month or two.
