i seem to be make frequent visits to this section does a standard ca18det have a afr on the downpipe for the ecu?

No, SA cars did not come with them.

Jap 8 port motors did. Sensor at the top of the downpipe.

Hmm, thats possible but our local ECU's couldn't use it.
I have actually never seen an import motor that complete - didn't know they came with the downpipe as well. Thanks for the info, Rat.

We have bought a couple complete motors here. Throw the sensor away as our 4 port ecus don't use it or have wiring for it.
