Adjust boost on GT25?

Post by Twakkie »

Can you set/adjust boost on a standard GT25 in standard form? i know its not advised coz you'll blow up in two days but can it be done? because ive heard that the GT25 can boost up to a bar. were do you set it?

Boost controller or adjustable actuator. You cannot adjust it as standard.

BTW It is a T25, not a GT25 on a stock CA18.

hey man, I can get you a full intercooler kit.

Tube and fin designed. which allows for better air flow to your radiator.

checkout www.actperformance.co.za under S13 section.

ur actuator has been adjusted or not working if its a t25 thats past its limit or capability of boost pressure. you should never boost high without supporting mods IE intercooler ect. what turbo u running?

wizard what boost u running?? still a bar?

obsession i did the same with my ca ran it at a bar witch no mods besides internals and a t28t3 had efff all power compared to tuned with all the goodies at .8 bar
your ecu is adjusting for it not that you can make huge gains with it
i bent the actuator bar to fit the turbo witch upped the boost. don't recommend it though

I disconnected the actuator......Been running at a bar for bout 3 months now....I must say. the gains does not feel significantly higher....

Since my 3rd motor rebuild( drifting and JMS killed them all), i took everything back to stock....except boost...
