Re: sr20 strip down and build up
Everything striped out
Many people might disagree with what i have done but i chose to do this
removed the two air filter brackets that serve no purpose.
Used some water paper and flated the engine bay down.
After flating it down gave it a wipe with some thinners
After the spray of black duco.

Re: sr20 strip down and build up
Good to see the car getting some TLC....
Left my hands in a very neat and good condition.....then it was completely screwed up! So sad when I saw the car at the previous owner just before you bought it.....was very close at buying it back!
Good luck and I hope you bring her back looking awesome!

There is loads of pics on my build thread of this car.....spent bucket loads of cash on this car to make it everyday reliable and neat and tidy.
But what can you do, when its not yours anymore........
But you are doing a good job on making her looking awesome again.

Re: sr20 strip down and build up UPDATED
Ive never had it where that specific car's ABS works properly. It locks up in a big way. ABS is also only effective for 50-60km and under. That you should be able to contol with the brake pedal alone. If you going faster than that, ABS wont do jack.....just causes your braking distance to be longer if anything!Riekert wrote:Not quite... but if your running coilovers then yesmario_200sx wrote:Throw the ABS out......useless in anyway!

The S13 ABS unit is old and out dated, most of them not even working properly anymore.
My 2c, chuck it........use it, dont use it.
