Rant:
--------

I know I am generalizing with this post but whoever tells you to buy a car from a Lady or an Old man has no idea what his talking about.

This car wasn’t cared for, it’s a commuter vehicle from point A to point B , the bare minimum was done to keep it on the road.

Example:
-----------

When I did the disks it took me 30 minutes a side and a massive hammer to remove the old disk from the HUB (with the bolts pulling it from the hub), I still think it’s the same disk fitted to the car 17 years ago at Nissan.

The brake pads didn’t exist, the inside pad was metal on metal for a few 1000km’s

The Oil was tar, it took me four flushes to get it clean, Radiator water was rust basically , Two flushes to get it clean

There was a rats nest in the Airbox (Really) and the MAF had a layer of sand on it.

When I pressure washed the car there was more sand on my drive way then in my garden , I have done this twice and more sand keeps coming out.

The last time the car was polished was 17 years ago, I spent almost R500 on Maguire’s products and about 8 hours to get that paint semi decent.

Wheel Alignment shot , Resulting in all the tires being shot

The car was so under powered that when coming back from Delareyville (Where I bought the car), my wife was kicking my ass the whole way back with her GWM 1.5 Florid (no Sh%t) , Turns out that the Throttle stopper was screwed in all the way so at wide open throttle , I was only getting 1\3 the way on the throttle body.

But on a nice note after all the stuff has been fixed on the motor she is a real gem, perfect compression across the board with no sounds or smoke of any kind

Rant Over….

I see the red calipers and I have to ask myself - did you run out of blue? :P

Looks like you got a good bargain there.
