NISTune Install
I thought I would do a little write up on the installation of the NISTune Type 3 board and show you how time consuming and involved it is turning your OEM ECU into a stand alone unit.
Step 1 - Locate your ECU
Time - 5 Minutes
------------------------------
Find your OEM ECU
Step 2 - Remove OEM ECU and bracket
Time - 2 Minutes
------------------------------------------------
Step 3 - Remove ECU covers
Time - 2 Minutes
----------------------------------
Step 4 - Solder in 40 Pin Connector
Time 45 Minutes
-----------------------------------
Step 5 - Install NISTune board
Time 1 Minute
-----------------------------------
Step 6 - Install ECU
Time 5 Minutes
-----------------------
Just look at that cut up harness hope my soldering holds, Thats not right, I forgot I didn't cut a wire,Next load the Start-up map and head to the dyno, No Wait? That's not right aswell
Ow Yes, Just Load your stock Nissan Map and start the car and drive, That sounds Right
Step 7 - Plug in your consult cable
Time - 5 minutes
-----------------------
Now you can start tuning , On the stock map keeping all your stock functions,No step up motors, no crank angel sensors, Just plug in and go tuning.
Time to see what the stock motor can do
Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Re: PFB's - 1997 200GSI (New Spec)
Good Morning Guys\Girl
The SR20DET motor and intercooler has arrived, I have to say thanks to Grimmy for putting up with all my shit
The Last Dyno before the motor was pulled she put down 220Whp on a BB T25 at 1 Bar , So 164Kw.
Spent most of the weekend stripping down the turbo’s to see how I can make the GT28R Housing Fit, I have decided to try and get the T25 housing ported to accept the GT28RS Compressor wheel, The smaller housing will help with spool but I will lose a little top end but I can live with that since space is a huge issue with this swap.
The Turbo should still be more then 330HP capable but have the same or better spool then the T25 , Picked up the Greddy Spec 2 Boost controller this weekend looks brand new , Way the same unit I ran on the SX , Thinking of using the greedy Hi \ Lo switch for launching to keep traction.
I have started porting on the J-Pipe , Wish I could get my hands on a divorced setup , can easily gain a few HP there
Motor
-------
Ve Oil Pump, chain guides..ect that need to be fitted
------------------------------------------------------
Big Mess, I know
---------------------
Intercooler setup
---------------------
I will heat wrap the intercooler piping aswell before fitment

New Turbo Vs Stock Turbo
---------------------------------
New Machined , T25 Housing
----------------------------------------
GT28RS - With a stock T25 W10 Housing
-------------------------------------------
Got to love dual ball bearing turbo's, just blowing in the exhaust got the wheel spinning
