Nissan 200SX Club - South Africa

I was Asked to post this on the forum by a friend of mine. so i hope its not braking any laws or anything
Hi,

A great event is being organized by various car clubs in Gauteng and should be one of the best events of the year.

The Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Vw and Opel clubs of Gauteng in conjunction with Nitro Raceway and Nitro Crew will be hosting a 400m and 800m drag event on the 1st of July 2007. There will also be a big show and shine event and a sound of competition on the day too.

Mark these details on your calendar and make a plan to be there!

Sounds nice, If I got my car by then I will join....but I won't race,,,,engin will most propably not be run in yet..

I'll come through to support. Sounds like a fun event and it's a lot closer than driving out to tarlton (for me anyway)

Who is going and who is going to race!? The competition is average; this ain't the nationals..but that means noobs like me might do OK

If you aren't coming to race, pitch up so we can at least have a bit of a social.

Drag racing is very much like your average robot to robot ad-hoc race except you don't have to worry about the vendors at the robots getting knocked over and there's less chance of road-rage.

anybody notice the RWD bantam with its EGI motor.

i've seen pics of another, that had probably the shiniest most expensive rotary in it that i've ever heard of here in SA.

Anyone watch Rides last night on discovery 6:30-7:30?? Where some mad S15s there, pletty S13 and S14 aswell.

Woohoo, then we have a rep for the 6 cyl class!

I am trying to organise all the support we'll need..excluding bonnet babes as those cost R300 per hour each. Although anyones willing girlfriend(s) are free to wander around our cars in bikinis & fur boots (its cold after all).

Anyone who wants to help with the logistics, please PM me. We'll probably try to setup a bring & braai or something. Does anyone have any strict diet requirements like veg/vegan/halal/kosher/woolies?

We'll also try to have at least 2 cars capable of towing an sx home should, god forbid, something brake.
