Nissan 200SX Club - South Africa

Hi guys im looking for a big set of silicon hoses to replace all my little water hoses including the main radiator hot and cold pipe, i want to replace them all same time to prevent odd leaks here and there. I can get the main hose kit for R800 but i havent seen one with the small hoses included.

Let me know please as i just got a leaking bottom pipe thanks

Autobahn88 makes both kits. Will cost you about R2800.

ouch R2800 is too much right now, i was expecting like R1300 for all the water pipes, dont really need vacuum pipes

That does not include the vacuum pipes.

The problem is that the heater hose kit alone is 22 pipes.

The only option is AB88, or some nameless chinese kak (which costs about 10% less)

Maybe i should just replace whats leaking right now

I hate all the pipes on the CA18, i want a neat simple looking motor, would love to get rid of all the unnessesary things but then i know cold starts etc will be an issue, heres a little link of a guy who re-did alot of water pipes and took off alot of stuff:

Ok guys, i still cant find this kit, im willing to just settle for the kit with the bottom hose and top hose for radiator, i need it asap as my car is still out of order and i need it up and running, i have to use my credit card in the mean time so if anyone knows of a shop in JHB or where ever that delivers and you can pay online with Credit card then that is even better, but if i have to EFT i can make a plan, please guys let me know where i can get in South Africa, i cant wait weeks for parts from overseas. the kit im looking for will just look like this:



the only South african shop i found that had was turbo toys for R800 which isnt a bad price but they dont deliver so i would have to pay a courier separately and alotta the guys said turbo toys gives bad service so i dont want to really get involved if possible.

Also im not interested in the places that custom make bends with stainless steel piping etc because thats just more joints that have the possibility of leaking

Hi Enzio you mentioned autobahn 88, is there a south african distributor?? If not then there's no point coz like I said I'm not waiting weeks for delivery and shipping, plus R2800 insane for silicone hoses, at the end of the day silicone is silicone, they probably all get them made in china, I'm not on a heavy tight budget, I don't mind paying around R1000 for the 2 hoses, but I need to get them from south africa as time is an issue, I've also been to every spares shop I can think of with my old hose and none of them have anything even similar is length or shape of mine, perhaps I should phone nissan for a quote buy I expect them to tell me something like R800 for one hose.

Also - you want silicone hoses, but you don't want to spend money on them - because "silicone is silicone"?? BS, buy the cheap shit at your own risk. Otherwise get OEM.
A shit silicone hose will not be better or last longer than a good quality rubber hose.
