Want to get away and come experience the awesome sport of drifting first hand?

D1S has organised a luxury bus to leave Cape Town on Thursday afternoon 26th July and returning Sunday afternoon 29th July.

We are heading up to Kimberley for the 3rd round of the Shakedown series where the organisers of Formula D will be in attendance and I will be competing for the first time nationally in SA.

What we have organised is a luxury bus, accommodation in a game farm 6km's from the track (bus will stay with us and transport us), and breakfast & dinners for all the time we are there.

The price is stupidly low at R 2,500.00.

The first day will be practice at the track, the second day is the main event with a concert happening alongside the drifting, and Sunday we head out.

Hi - I was about to post about this event in Kimberley. I am going but probably driving down with my reliable Nissan (i.e. not the sx) but anyway - anybody that's also planning on going let me know so we can hookup there or dare I say convoy with some of the other people going through?
