turbo water lines

ok im not very clued up here but i got a t28 how important is the water lines can i leave it off must i block them or must i connect them?

Extremely important. The oil "cooling" ability of the turbo design is "less" due to the design relying more on the integrated water cooling .
Not that important while driving but predominantly when you have switched off and heat soak back from the turbine housing and manifold start creeping towards the bearing assy.
Garrett specifically suggest that the turbo chra is canted over slightly to promote siphoning when switched off.
It is important.

fair enough but i got myself a t28 and i dont see any place for water lines just the oil lines what now? i dont want to fry another turbo or engine

then its not a garret turbo
if it does not have water cooling then block it off
