Nissan 200SX Club - South Africa

So from about a week and a half ago my car started to smell bad, like thie Subject say's, BAD smell coming from the engen bay!!!!!

And then sunday morning i started to get a bearing knock again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any advise on the smell???

What will cause it?

Open the water bottle and smell. Could be head gasket

Exactly where it is coming from, especialy if driven hard......But oil clean....???

flush and put new 50% mix back

Glade air freshener ?? Works for me , even after an egg salad....

Big Problem, Big bearing knock...Had enough of the CA.....two motor rebuilds in 3 months.....

Will i be laughed at if i go opel 2litre 16vlave Turbo? or maby a ??

Definately banned then... Bad enough mixing brands... Nevermind fitting a euro motor

Not definite yet, looking at costing on the opel and a SR20det conversion yet....

I need reliabality, that can take a hammering, and cheap to repair if somthing breaks....

C20XE turbo/C20LET?? 300kw and no one will be laughing at you. You can do it too if some old 200TS's are anything to go by

Those Opel motors are really strong, i wont deny that but i would not put one in my 200sx no ways, i hate to mix brands, i would put in an SR20 one time, then you dont have to modify anything on the body to fit it, and those 200ts engine parts are harder to find as far as i know compared to sr20, and aftermarket parts are so plenty for the sr20.

And what gearbox will you use on a ts motor to get it rear wheel drive? can you pop a rwd box onto the bell housing? sounds like too much chopping and changing to me.

dude, first brush your teeth, and wash .regularly.with soap. if the smell is still in the car check for water leak under dash (inside the car). smells like somethings vrott.
