Hey guys finaly my budi helped me take the head off my sr and i have a bent valve wich i knew but when i looked on piston one there was valve dent marks on both sides ontop of the piston and on piston 4 wich indicates that the previous ower bent a few valves as there are no marks on the existing valves, there is also no cometic head gasket as claimed to be in the car, its a epp head gasket? Never heard of that, and the head was skimmed to much and compresion is realy high, i would like to know how do you tell on the camshaft if its a brian crower cam as iv been told there are 272 bc cams in my car and the two first lobes on the cams are damaged can they be repaired and how?
Any advice would be appreciated.

There should be a stamp on the end of the camshaft (Timing chain side).

Can the camshafts be repaired?

Wow! What a shock! Did the previous owner do any work to the car?

When I had it I personally put the cometic gasket on and BC cams I bought from Rezlo.

Cams can be fixed, Goch and Cooper can do it for you.
