can some one here with experience help!
on top of the purchase price in japan or whatever FOB, how much tax and vat and fees must i pay say for a car that R100k? to get it SA reg and trouble free???

Well
Here is a table To help you ,
If the car is (price) you must add (half the price) = totall cost
50 + 25 = 75
100 + 50 = 150
that should cover all your costs
