cant see that it will work very weel as your discs will not have enough time to cool down after it has rotated past the caliper.

No point in having massive clamping force but your discs cant cool down. Its about having the perfect balance between the two. Cooling + Clamping force.....

Agree with the cooling factor as Mario said.

The biggest problem here is that if your front to rear balance is not perfect the front will be biased , probably lock up or turn the car around.
Imo it is way over kill .

Alfa Romeo used two two pot A.P. calipers in this configuration on the Autodelta racers in the 70,s and 80,s. Very successful but it was matched front and rear. In total the two calipers made up a big 4 pot.
This was primarily done due to space constraints. Wheels used were 13 inch. diameter.

maybach has the same setup^^ some said having 2 four pot is better then having a 8 pot...

I can see it working on a road car, but a race car? I dont think so, maybe its something to look into.......?

In this configuration the 2 pot is simply a handbrake caliper.

according to the owner it is! might import some of these cailpers in SA! these setup cost around 35% of the BREMBO or AP item landed including the floating disk!

I have been thinking of a similar setup , i have 4 calipers that i want to fit , like this ,

i realy think we must look into it
