Re: Got my new wheels last nite!
inner fender bracing ftw!
Re: Got my new wheels last nite!
i supose the inner fender bracing is to support the strut towers and make them more stiff/regit ,less movement under extrem cornering . nissan bakkies also have a supporting brace on the inner fender but that to support the the weight of the front of the body lol.
great ride by the way, thats probbably the only honda ill ever consider bying cause its rear whelel drive and u can rev the shit out of it.lol

Adjustable Brake BIAS
Would this be possible on a stock system?
What I have found on the S2K on the track day is that my rears take a bigger beating than the fronts. After my first session out my rears got so hot it was smoking! However my fronts was hot but still ok.
I have also found out when pushing really hard into the corners that at some stages my rears would lock up before the fronts. This obviously being a very scary moment and very dangerous!
I think stock the S2K has hand full of brake pressure at the back and the combination of high RPM egine braking into the corners cause then to lock up before the fronts. Brake Bias might be a good idea here?

Re: S2K Track/Street Build
Stock wheel weight of the S2K AP1:
17.5lbs front and 18.6lbs rear
By the looks of things I will be able to safe a bit of weight on the wheels if I purchase some proper lite weight 17" wheels.

Re: S2K Track/Street Build
Isn't this the AP1 facelift?
Saw your ride on MyHonda, hot as hell!
I had a fascinating conversation with some of the SX guys about putting an F20C motor in my SX, lots of dismay and shouts of burning the car LOL!! (It will last people thats all I'm saying)

Re: S2K Track/Street Build
Hahaha thanks man. Its a AP1 but not a facelift, my car is a 2000 model.
Well, let me tell you one thing, if you put the F20C motor in a S13......you will not have a days problem! And if you turbo it.........all hell will break loose!
The car does look hot now.....lets see if we can get it to look even better!

Re: S2K Track/Street Build
Hopefully one day I will be able to put some Enkei's on. A-Line's will have to do for now.
Will be starting with the splitter (front), catch tank and brakes this weekend.

Hopefully the hardtop will happen soon!
I decided to keep as people dont want to buy good money for the car. I will rather keep it than sell it for next to nothing.
