Some of us talked briefly about this at Toby's birthday surprise party...
We need a venue, anywhere central.
We need a few games everybody has got or can get a copy off to borrow. Remember not everybody has the latest hardware, so slightly older games like Need 4 Speed U2 should be ok.
Hubs/switches cables multi plugs (I can help with that)
A place to braai when we get tired of playing or take a brake.
A cameraman
etc.

Ummm venue, I know a place but its rather big can seat 1000+ people that we can get... Don't think the auniti would charge me.

Switches and hubs and even wireless router I can supply. Got a bit of cabling too but not much. I can supply copies of N4SUG2 or other games too.

I'm buying a PC today, so I'll be sorted hw wise. Might even get a wheel, heard rave reviews from u guys abt the logitech stuff. Can you say homo! I mean momo!

Aaah my type of game... I play it online sometimes as -=Vl@de=- but I get my arse wipped.
Got a 24port switch and some cables too...

damn right you'd "be prepared" to pay for it!!!
the only thing wrong with it is the mounting. the plastic retainers that the screws mount to has cracked. so you cant tighten it.
i was just going to add a washer to fix it, but then i got rid of my computer and stopped playing games. cant keep up with the technology!!!

I can at most supply a spare steering wheel with pedals (no force feedback), and also a PC capable of playing these games - so basically 1 spare rig (altho come to think of it, I might just use this one instead of dismantling my main setup). Also a 19" and 17" monitor, bit I'm not prepared to lug those around!
My initial idea though was that we just go to a computer gaming place like Computer Corporation in Reds mall, where we pay whatever to play for a few hours.
How many people are keen tho? And how many have their own rigs?

I got a spare rig with a Geforce 4200 in it, good enough for most games, used it till recently so yeah... NFSUN2 rungs great on it...
