RB26 cams fit the RB25 NEO ??

Just got given a pair of Tomei RB26 cams, I am getting conflicting info regarding this, does someone KNOWLEDGEABLE now if it`s possible ??
Otherwise its pull the old motor apart to check...

What spec are the Tomei cams, Pon or Pro?

RB26 has solid lifters and RB25 has hydrollic

The reason I asked for the cam specs is if it is high lift Procams you will need new shims, lifters, springs and retainers, so there would not be a problem fitting it to the NEO head.
The loss of VCT would be a bummer though.
Not sure if the direct replacement Poncams would work though.

RB25 block + RB26 head = awesome~!!! and they fit together like magic

Getting the cams this week. Tobie, will let you know. I`m leaning towards going full RB26 here. But then we go moggy, after the R33 and the Stegia I need to.

Series 1 RB25 running FULL RB26 valve train. this car runs low tens and the mods was done by Steve at No Sweat Racing.
