Water methanol 50/50 mix

I ran w/m before and used a 5l to mix the two, back then I got the measurements from Freddie...since that time has passed...I have no measurments so I had to start looking at working it out myself...
The general public mix it 50/50 by volume, even snow performance boost juice is mixed 49% meth/51% water....according to snow performance themselves, it should be mixed 50/50 by weight not volume....
Now...to work out the real 50/50 mix by weight, I found that 1l methanol weighs 791 grams where 1l of water weighs 1kg rounded amounts.
So, lets say I want a mix of 5L 50/50... 2.5L water weighs 2.5kg, 3.2L meth weighs 2.53 kg round to 2.5Kg, close enough to 50/50 by weight?
So 3.2+2.5= 5.7L, which is to much for a 5L can, we are 700ml over, so 700ml devided by 2 is 350ml, then taking 350ml from each amount will then make 5L, so 3.2L = 3200ml and same with water,3200-350= 2850 which is 2.85L and 2500-350=2150 which is 2.15L, thus to get a 5L 50/50 mix by weight, you need 2.85L meth and 2.15 water.....
Does anyone know better?
