The Annual CASTROL EXTREME AUTO SHOW is the only undiluted, most action packed motoring event ever to be staged in South Africa. AEC has introduced the first POWER CRUISE ever to take place into this adrenaline filled Motoring Event. The CASTROL EXTREME AUTO SHOW is all about EXTREME Motoring, Karting and Biking. Only the EXTREME will be showcased as in STREETERS, MUSCLE, HOTRODS, RESTORATIONS and CUSTOM BIKES at this event, which is the most action packed motoring event in South Africa.
Motoring Enthusiasts and visitors to this event will definitely feel that they have arrived in MOTORING HEAVEN. The event will offer visitors the biggest line up of interactive motoring activities as well as plenty of entertainment for the ladies and kids. This is the only motor show in South Africa not to be missed.

Just hope it will be better than last years attempt they had at the dome. Now that was a ultimate flop!

I would not say Last year was a flop, but it had signs of needing to change venue.
There are so many good reasons why the Z is the best place to host this event now as there is a dramatic shift in the way cars are being exhibhited in the world.

Yes I have been to the Z a couple of times WF and with big shows like the JMS.
This years Castrol X Show will be done on a similar layout, but better as they took note what was wrong at the previous big shows held at the tracks.

On this topic and probably concerning Japfest also... Do we have any club banners etc? Would be nice to look like a proper club and not just some okes with 200sxs

Good day All
I have been in an email marathon contact yesterday with Jenelle and others
If you have entered one of the Invitation forms you have been accepted to display your car.
This is the form:

Please note there is a PDF version available which can be printed, filled in, scanned and mailed.
Here are a few comments from Jenelle:
"We haven’t finalised the floor plan as yet re the car clubs etc.
Each vehicle gets two passes, their friends and family pay R80 for adults and R40 for pensioners and children. We accept all cars so long as they are pimped and out of the ordinary and not just a brand new model.
If the guys HAVE to take their vehicles home that is fine, it is a bit of a mission re the security, but we will make certain arrangements.
They can get their passes from the organisers office when they bring their cars.
The cars need to be parked by 19:00 on the Friday night. If they using their vehicles they need to be there between 7-8 on the sat and sun morning. There is 24 hour security."
I hope this will clear up some uncertainties.
