Drifting fans will once again be delighted when the third round of the Carnival City WOMZA Drift Championships takes place at Rock Raceway. Unmistakably the drifters will be well prepared for this daunting event as tensions build closer to the date of battle.
The wild tyre shredding chariots will be put to the ultimate test of limitations, as the owners hang on the other end of the controlling device to try and tame the beast under their behinds. No limits in this points battle for top honours.
So come and be part of the “Oh my gosh!!” “ Way cool dude” “Do that trick again!!” “ Did you see that...did you see that...??” crowd, make up a banner of your favourite drifter or 1 more time banner, “ best banner could win some awesome prizes” Drifters from as far a filed as Komatipoort, Mozambique and various parts and regions of the country will converge to compete in a battle for this prestigious event.
Drifters will forcefully destroy tyres as they shred them until only the carcases are left smouldering into the black of night as they tantalize and torment each other to impress the judges for the final decision on who is Drift Champ of the night. The sublime bliss of tyre screeching smoke emitting frenzy will once again erupt under the noses of patrons as the energized sideways drifters dazzle the crowds with their style of drifting
The food court will ensure a wide range of eateries for those who have mastered the multitasking of cheering for the drifting, chewing on the freshly purchased sustenance and bopping to the Rock Raceway tunes supplied by none other than the dude himself DJ Spirit.
Sound Off competition also returns to The Rock Raceway with awesome prizes to be won, interested parties can contact Andre Pitzer on 079 495 9299.
Remember to bring mom, dad, kids, and neighbours too.
Gates will open 12 noon and racing will start 4Pm prompt.
