I run ceratec (additive) and liquimoly GT1. I'm happy with the combo. The reason for this os based on what your oil is actually doing besides lubricating and cooling? It also traps debris from metal moving parts as well. Thats why the oil turns black. I run the ceratec as it sorta micropolishes the parts that rub together and bonds to the metal. Well thats my opinion on it and it may differ from everyone else. The best oil isn't an exact science. Just do your research and go for what makes sense to you. My SR has been rebuilt and with aftermarket parts, so something new rubbing against something old will have a tolerance difference.. added to that is our SA tuning so I think oil on its own isnt enough if you drive the car hard often. Oil monitoring is also very important. I also know a few guys that competed in drifting events with bearing knocks and finshed using ceratec.
