Nissan 200SX Club - South Africa

While we were at the Castrol Xtreme show 2007, we spoke to the event organiser about the possibility of having our club at the next show. The feedback was quite positive. The gist of it is:

- Clubs are welcome to host a stand at the show
- We don't need to pay for floor space since we are not displaying for profit
- We can have a car or two on display, suitably bling'd up

I have the contact details of the organiser so we can keep in touch with them. I have a few suggestions:

- Whoever is interested and has the means, should try and build a car for the show. If we can get the car featured in a mag (like SnS or Max Power, that should give us a good indication that it's ready for the show).
- We might then be able to get sponsorship, but that's unknown at this stage.
- We could record some of our drifting action and make a video to display at the stand
- Perhaps talk to the organiser about doing an actual drift show at the event.

At the end we are going to have to have a 200sx shootout to determine whose cars get to be on display.

Are any of us building bling bling? Maybe our stand is going to be more about performance/drifting/drag rather than style/big mags.

Maybe we can have 1 bling-bling sx and one stripped out roll-caged performance monster.

Big question is will we have T-shirts by then or will Toby and whoever has tshirts have to sit there for 3 days non-stop

im trying to build a bling bling drifter. like something from the d1. but i dont think i will be done in time. just got the expensive things to do.

i also went to the einbach stand and they very interested in the drifting club opposite lock. they want to use us to promote drifting and maybe sponsor us. and they also mensioned us possibly doing a drift special at the next extreme auto show.

We waited for you until about 10:00 to drive with us to the dome. What happened?

i dont know what happened. i sent u a sms to say that i was going earlier to get good parking. did u get the sms? i sent it to u at 8:30 on sunday.

i guess I gotta do what I wanted with my SX sooner, rather then later. But I had subtle stuff in mind.
I still think as many SX's should be on the floor, just to show variety. Fark it, we should use the whole dome if we can.

How about we bling up my sx for the event , I'll be willing to be there the whole weekend if you all chuck some cash at my ride, hehehe, wishfull thinking seeing as you all have SX's already requiring all your cash.

Seems good though that you guys are doing your part for the club!!!!!!

Yeah sure. I got these really funky polka dot stickers.......in all sorts of colours & sizes.

somehow I dont think thats what I meant,

I've got some cool krywa wheels that will give your ride some cool costumised potential, while we at it we can use a 8" pvc pipe I used for ports we can fit on your exaust.

naa I have the wheels and xhaused covered already, how about a body kit

i would've gone there to meet the dudes, and taken the whole club with me!!!
