One of my friends is hosting an event on the 14 of May.

Slideways Xtreme is proud to announce our very first Drift event in KZN :
THE KZN DRIFT CHALLENGE: ROUND 01 !!! 14-May-11
and would like to invite you to attend our meeting. We would love for you to bring forth
your ability and put on a great show for the fans. We have invited drifters from all over
South Africa and can't wait for you to show our fans in KZN what drifting is all about.
Rules and Regulations has been drafted and will be sent out to you a.s.a.p. This will be a
MSA event and all drivers are required to attain MSA drift licenses to compete. The license
qualifies as a year's race social license under a MSA sanctioning and liability cover.
Furthermore, it is mandatory that each driver acquire medical insurance and can also be
attained at the same time from MSA at an additional cost.
(If your medical aid covers motorsport, you don’t need this medical insurance from MSA)
This is not applicable if you do have your MSA license already. The drifters from the
Sidewayz Crew can just renew their licenses at their club.
Cost's involved : R350 MSA license
R520 Medical insurance
R50 entry fee
There will be trophies and prizes sponsored by various bodies. We will run a top 8 for our
pro-drifters and a bottom 8 for the development class. We look forward to your response
and hope that you will enter and make this day one for the history books.
First prize : for the top drifter/ winner of the day.

The event is to be held at : The Roy Hesketh Racetrack in Pietermaritzburg (Murray rd)
and will start at 12:00 am. There will be practice on the Friday from 12:00 to 15:00.
Our judges will be the by now famous pair : Bruno Miranda and Stephen Swanepoel
Will send you name, tel nr's and address for accommodation later in the week as we are
busy with negotiating better prizes for the drifter families.

Does anyone know where i can get entry forms for the event on the 14th, and roughly when registration close? Know of a couple people that want to enter but need info.

It is going to be great fun. We tested the track and the lexus looked good. Lots of smoke, awesome and FAST. (from the sideline,lol) Can't wait!
