Damn CC'ing a cylinder-head very nice.
Must be pushing for be power on that motor, Looks like it had a nice porting job and Combustion chamber clean-up, maybe a 3 angle valve job

Thats my handywork on the port job as well

I worked a flowbench and ported heads for about 7 years from 89 on and I hate it. I came out of retirement to do that head only

so dont even think about it. Valve seats are cut by a Serdi so there is only a 45deg angle and a radius above and below that.
If I must use angles then I do 5 angle seat jobs.

The flow job and combustion chambers took about 5 days straight if I add it up.

seems like a lot of work

, looks great tho. What engine is that and
why would one cylinders comp ratio different to the others

Thats a SR20DET (FWD) Compression ratios vary cyl to cyl because of manufacturing tolerances. The other reason I did that is a well known supplier decided he knew better and supplied 9;1 pistons instead of the 8.5:1 compression ratio I had requested.
The motor in question has a 90mm bore making it a 2.2ltr so I took the opportunity to open up the combustion chambers dropping the compression ratio and unshrouding the valves all in 1 go.
Hopefully we see about 350kw wheels before the nitrous.

I think its Monster's (on the Nismo forum) its for a FWD sentra, he will be running Autronic, LSD, and a bunch of goodies most of us will never be able to afford

I'd love that kind of power but the fuel cosumtion makes me setlle for a little less

How much is that modification going to cost?? R25K - R30K?? Why put that much money into a sentra?? Honestly I dont see the point, That car will be balistic to drive. Its like the 300kw golfs we have down here, its like driving a 100Kw UNO

I believe the bill is nearing the 200k mark
It should be pretty pleasnt to drive as their is a custom straight cut dog PAR gearset in the gearbox with a much longer diff ratio.
7000rpm in 5th = 304km/h
Plus the R20 000 Autronic system has Boost control by rpm, speed and gear and fulltime programmable traction control on the way
This has been thought out very carefully and only the best stuff is being used.
Produce another car for under 300k that will perform and handle like this car when it is finished.

But why a FWD Sentra?? I dont care how this car will drive its still a Sentra and thats that. Give me R200K to put into a S13/S14 or even a Lancia Delta and that sentra will have no chance.
But I suppose its each to his own, maybe the guy likes a Sentra

Lemme rephrase that show me a std production car that costs R300k or less with the same level of performance. In fact show me a std car with that lkevel of performance for under R100 000
