Event starts @ 9 o'clock & should end @+- 12 o'clock. this is the 3 rd event of its kind & some off the local schools have been invited to assist.

Event should last until +- 12:30 - 13:00. There will be boerewors rolls & soft drinks on sale during the event.

We'll organise a tour of the centre for Fueltopia during or after the event.

It really is worth while watching these special people's achievements however small thay might be. I personally experience it as a huge motivator.

The centre's braai facilities (drums), hall & hall ablutions will be available to Fueltopia afterwards for a "lekker tjop & dop" afterwards.
The centre is not listed on most maps, but is right next to the "old" Daggafontain Mine in Springs.

Guys & ladies. I'm(MrMazda aka Raoul Pienaar) the current chairperson of the said centre, VNC is a centre that caters for severely mentally chalenged persons (not educable). Similar to Avril Elizabeth. We currently have 106 residents from +- 2.5 years old to 67 years of age. More than 60% of residents do not have family to support them (their fam pased away or the younger ones were abandoned)
Our annual budget exceed R4 mil & gov assistance cover +- 65%. Budget for 2011/12 shows deficit of R1.3m.

Currently we desperately require winter clothing. Old clothing of all shapes & sizes male & female are most welcome. What we can't use we sell to bolster funds.

Note: all routes are from (?) to the centre:

A: PRETORIA:1 Proceed to Bapsfontein 4 stop @ Delmas /Bronkhorstspruit Rds crossing.
2 Proceed towards Benoni R51. ( ie TR @ 4 stop coming from Delmas Rd or SA/FR coming from Bronkhostspruit Rd.
3 SA/FR towards Benoni & observe Broodblik & Koffiepit (bakery)left & Toyota Rally Academy (right).
4 Pass Samrand turn off to left. SA/FR & OBS (a bit further on) vintage car scrapyard on left.
5 TL @ next RD Springs R51 (Geldenhuis Rd) & OBS water filled quarry on left, plastic factory on left, brick factory on left & brick quarry on right. Proceed straight to 4 Stop. Should you miss this turn proceed straight on Bapsfontein / Benoni Rd & follow (7) below.
6 TR @ 4 Stop ( Du Randt St) & OBS Putfontein Primary School on left. Total garage a little further on right.
7 (Only if you missed Geldenhuis Rd turn off on Bapsfnt/Benoni Rd. SA through Zezfontein/Petit. OBS Shell garage on left. TL @ 4 stop just after Shell garage.OBS Crane Academy left, Scrapyard right, Noorderlig School sportsfields left. A little further Cementry left. Pass Crystal Park turnoff, SA to T Junction & TR. OBS Total garage on right.)
8 SA after Total Garage over robot & OBS School Of Arts left & Unisa E/R campus left. SA pass Daveton on left then under bridge, to 4 stop & N12. SA @ 4 stop. Follow route (B) /N12 below.



B:N 12 EAST
1 Take Springs / Daveton off ramp from N12. @ 4 stop turn right (R51) towards Springs. Proceed pass 4 robots & OBS on the way: sewerage works right. SA under railway line 1st Robot) & Modder B Jail (left) (2nd robot) SA, pass informal settlement (3rd Robot). Just after R29 Brakpan turnoff (4 th robot) from N12 TL into Sasol Garage meeting point.
2 From Sasol garage proceed towards Springs. Pass 3 robots & OBS (along the way) over railway line pass dams (left & right) Sundowner pub left/ Kruger farm old steam tractor right. Under railway line, Engen garage right after 2 nd robot. Pic & Pay left @ 3 robot. SA to 4 th Robot.
3 @ 4 robot R29 Springs 4 th Ave(Geduld) TL. Follow RD straight through Geduld & OBS various branches of Jubilee Motors left & right. Under railway line, OBS ACE Scrapyard left, RD turns right 90 (deg). OBS Springs Fire Station left & Nissan right. SA pass Hyundai I Kia Springs & Trafic Dept on left. Next robot after Traffic Dept TL (R29)1 st Ave (Springs). SA carry straight on & pass , BMW & M/Benz right , SUMP (scrapyard) left, “windmill in park” right, pass nursery. Just after 2 nd nursery @ Hugo Motors & Ginger Brown Refrigeration TR Caseldale RD. SA until SPAR on left go straight @ Traffic circle just after Spar.
4 Over N17 OBS nursery on left / Engen garage right. SA pass robot until Caseldale RD “forks towards right”. OBS Struisbult & Vita Nova signs just before fork. @ Fork proceed straight Diamant ST. (Don’t follow Caseldale RD). First St Fish Eagle St TL . Proceed until almost the end of Fisheagle & OBS on the way a huge “stone dump’ right & old Daggafontein Hosp left. Just before mine TL into VNC.

C:N17 EAST
1 Take R51 Nigel/ Wit RD off ramp. (180 deg turn). TR towards Springs CBD. @ 1st robot TR OBS fence left veld right. Proceed to traffic circle @ Spar. Caseldale RD. Take 3rd exit Caseldale Rd & follow from B.4 above.

We all meeting at the hifi corp in boksburg round 8am,westrand guys will meet at the nissan garage on ondekkers road across from princess crossing from 6:45 to 7:15 then we leave to boksburg to meet up with the rest,i think that you the only one from pta maybe you can do a convoy from there if any pta members are joining in?
