Howdy,
You didnt get a Silver top SR20DET, but you did get a Silver top SR20DE FWD. (Unless I'm mistaken, there might be different models that went into the bluebirds etc)
If you looking for bearings etc, check Rezlo's site

Any engineer would be able to provide you with bearings and maybe rings... Even some spares shops, but if I was you
* Not sure how your motor knowledge is - drop the motor of at an engineer let them deal with it, or a respectable motor builder like
http://www.thecalibrator.co.za
I ordered ACL bearings from my engineers way cheaper than sourcing them from online.

the guys at the importers call it a white top but it is silver. looks like a std sti motor but it is turbo charged. looks like it comes off the Avenir. its a fwd motor. its currently in my nissan sabre. will post picz shortly. its basically a complete motor. my motor knowledge is sufficient i would say. i havent reli checked with anyone abt the ringz & bearings. i stufed the bearings up & needed my car running ASAP so bought another motor. cost R7500.00. pushed out 125kw @0.5bar with the clutch slippin quite terribly. what clutch do you guys recommend?

According to your specs the motor you describe is that of the Pulsar/Sunny GTi-R
Your pictures show a low port SR20DET FWD motor with no VVT. The GTi-R motor that produce the figures you quoted also have individual thottle bodies, 1 per cylinder... Sorry...

Seems you where right about the specs ...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Avenir
but the later model only used a T25 turbo

and no VVT
"GT4 - W11 - 98, 00-01 - Silvertop T25G"
All the beans ...
