My car is not boosting, checked the BOV, ckecked the wastegate...there was a problem but got that fixed, still no boost. I am hearing a whining noise when the boost has to happen but nothing, it does not go over 0 bar boost

No boost pipes are off, if there was a boost leak ot would have had some boost at least, nothing, so the next thing, shaft snapped...but if that is the case, 3 questions, why does the compressor wheel spin on idle ,
Why do I hear a whining noise when its suppose to boost and why is there no smoke on driving?????

is the turbo soak in oil?

how much play is there?

when I first got my S13 my T25's compressor wheel used to catch on the housing making a weird noise and not make any boost. It also never smoked oddly enough.

I checked it now(don't know why I did not check before) has a decent amount of play forwards and backwards(2-3 mm), from side to side little play, that indicates that turbo is not in the condition it was, still...does that mean the shaft has snapped, when I started it cold a lot of oil smoke but went away as the car got hot, obveously the seals on exhaust side has some damage but compressor side shows no oil in boost pipes....still I am not convinced the shaft snapped...in any case, turbo will have to be replaced, just don't want to replace the turbo and find the same thing...no boost.

Any reading on the wolf?
Knock sensor?

0 nadda.....the wolf gets boost to the mao to calculate the laod....no boost...no laod increase
