You okes will be surprised at how relatively cheap the RB30 build is vs the RB26.
The stroker crank obviously added a lot more but Rand for Rand with an RB25 or RB26 head, the RB30 /25 /26 is way cheaper to do than a proper RB26 engine.
The RB30 base can easily start running away cost wise if you are not careful though .
I managed to buy an original non tampered with RB26 head for R7k. The stuff that goes into it is what bankrupts you....
