Stripped oil feed sr20det

Post by sr4life »

In the course of putting my turbo back on the motor, I managed to strip the oil feed hole on the block.
Has anyone had this problem before?
How did you fix it?
Bear in mind the motor is still in the car.

Re-coil it.

I'm sure there are people in SA that are able to do this for you, it's pretty straight forward with the kit.

I will be offering this service when I am in Cape Town in April.

Give mobile thread repairs a call, tell the guy you do not want metal filings to go into the motor, they use tricks with strong magnets and vacuum.
