Now I regret mentioning that:).

Ok..those turbos are in Japan and are second hand. If I bring them in I will put them up. Might be a slight price difference depending on known factors.

Back to my search. Looking for new and below 15k brand new.

Appenrly the twins on the RB26 are very responsive with little lag

Rudeboy has done his research and this was one of the best combo's you can get, 700hp GTR with very little lag

Contact Rudeboy for specs

I have contacted pleny plenty guys with this setup and almost all say the same thing...boost comes in full around 5000rpm range and if they could they would have just gone with the GT28 -5's or other HKS equivelants.

But for sure they will make more top end power over the GT2860r any day if thats the type of powerband you looking for. 600hp with min lag is where I am heading.

I'm not sure, but doesn't http://www.turbodirect.co.za allow you to buy straight from them? I got a price list once and IIRC it was +-9k for both the 2860 and the 2871 ex. vat.

also somewhere in the classifieds was someone advertising turbo's for roughly the same price in CT (just have a search, I will look later when i find time)

Its the same, but is ball bearing. Also I've heard lots of stories about the 2860's sh1tting themselves for no apparent reason so I personally would go for the 2871
