Ok now my cars temp never goes above 66degrees. So either my termostat is buggered or it something else. Now normally when termostats goes they stay closed not open. My thermostat does work because from cold there is no flow in the radiator.
I now its 66degrees because the display on the wolf says so. And yes the temp sensor is calibrated.
Any ideas??

Don't know what mine runs at but my guage shows it runs half between the halfway stripe and the 1 below, most other sx's I know of runs at half or just above on the temp guage, so mine runs cooler but don't know by how much.

I would say mine run between the 1/4 and half way.

Ya that sounds good, mine runs half between 2/4 and 1/2 when it is at full heat temp

2/4 and 1/2 are the same thing

.
But surely the sx should run at 88degrees. I think 66degrees is to cold.

at most mine hits 90 as shown on the Wolf, I can see all in real time with the Car PC.

Ja I see real time as well with the hand controller. But it sits steady at 66degrees, most I have seen is 71degrees.
Do you get different tempreture thermostats?? As far as I know most open at about 74degrees.

Yip you get different ones... mine is also a AM thermostat but only opens about 2/3 degrees lower than the OEM one, so it basically the same.
Important for those monkeys running import motors, change your thermo's hey! The guys in japan's thermostats open at 84 degrees.

my stoopid guessometer reads at 90 degrees in heavy traffice!
and between 80 and 90 on the freeway.
but the BMW switch turns the fans on at 91 degrees. and i am more inclined to believe the BMW part, than the stoopid gauge.
usually when the fans switch on, the temp gauge reads closer to 100 degrees!
stoopid guessometers!

that's right Vlademius. Nissan do sell the 76 degree & 82 degree thermostat, at about R250.00 a pop.
I say go for the 76 degree on & use a thinner oil. 0w - 40(mobil1)
