Do anyone know where I can get kit to overhaul my T28 sr20 turbo
Its got shaftplay about 1.5 mm in and out, are this amount acceptable or will it need a overhaul, up and down play are bout 0.8 mm, normally this is acceptable

Nobody can. You need to buy a new core. which is almost as much as a new BB turbo

okay, I got this info:
S14 Black top - 1994-98 Silvias - Variable Cam Timing aka VTC was introduced on the intake cam (Garrett T28 journal bearing turbo for Australian and European markets and Garrett T28 Ball Bearing turbo for the Japanese market)[1]

I still have the original european motor in my car, is there any chance of rebuilding a journal bearing turbo?

Oh, yeah that's not a BB turbo. I paid R350 for a re-build kit a couple of years ago. they cant be much more now. But surely any Turbo place can rebuild that.

Well I highly doubt its a BB turbo. They only came on Spec R S15's iirc

S14 in SA are eurpean model.... not BB Turbo ><

some import s14 sr20det have got single BB on exhaust and bush on compressor side

Correct, my import motor had a turbo like that on....
