I am looking for an oil pump for my SR20DET , and please don't start sending me links to Reslo and the likes. I want to buy an oil pump , not a small country.

I had a quick look and don't see any pumps thats not well over R2k.
You should do what Hentie suggest, you cant mes around with oil feed.

I personally looked for a new pump for months. There are NO local pumps other than Nissan OEM @ R4000-R5000.
Jerry at import parts got me one for R2800 from Phase2motortrend. The first one we got was a lil bent in transit but he sorted it out and got me another one. Was the cheapest I could find. Alternatively find someone with an import motor that is getting stripped. (Dunno where though).
Good Hunting!

I supplied a customer a OEM SR20DET Oil pump last month, price was +- R3600 I think.

Okay , I suspected it would be pricey , but mine is working fine , I just noticed the pressure is a bit lower than I would like and it is going in for remapping on the dyno @ 1.2 bar as opposed to the .9 that it is running at now and so I don't want to take a chance., but if I must then I must.
Should I go with Rezlo ?

i would if i was you, seeing that you going up in boost you need a good oil pump. for the R1500 pumps they are the ones with the narrower gears

I'd trust what Rezlo supplies and I know Hentie can vouch for that as well. He won't sell you pirate shit. It will be the genuine OEM part and his after sales service is very very good.

ok, seriously i dont get why people are so scared of buying parts from overseas.. even buying from a nissan dealer is way cheaper than buying here.
for EXAMPLE : i bought a stock, oem, genuine oil pump for my 300zx vg30dett engine from this NISSAN dealer in texas, USA .. the pump, with shipping, credit card charges, duties + vat was R2000-00 in my hands. the price from a local nissan dealer? R4500-00 . nuff said.
browse this.. should be the same as our s14 sr20det, and i have bought from them many times, no problems..

those are for the KA but I agree on buying overseas but Rezlo's pump for R2800 is not bad

ah sorry mate, i see i made a blunder there.. those parts for the s14 listed seems to be for the ka2.4 engine as fitted to the AMERICAN s14, only some of the parts listed seems to be for the SR20.. my mistake..
the point is still valid though, you dont have to pay loaded sa prices for stuff.
ah, here we go.. this should be the right part
