im busy fitting a mounting of parts.. ( by myself

) ... and ive 'hit' my first problem.
My clutch master cylinder is in the way of my new intake manifold... see pics. is there another drop in Clutch MC that's shorter?
secondly, look at this mess of water pipes.. sis. has anyone fiddled / simplified this mahem? i dont run my in car heater any more, so im pretty sure i can toss most of that mess away?
ANd then thirdly, i bought a new 76mm Works TB, but my intake is only 66m.. should i bore it out to suit the TB, even though it'll never match up perfect becuase i'll need to leave a bit of meat / alli on the intake flange.. or am i going way to big with the TB size?

here your problems A) you doing it by yourself i told you ill help hhahahaa
B)take master cyld out and put a spacer behind oneside to kick it sideways like they do witht he rb intakes
C)cuck most the pipes bud like i did on my ca18det you got have water fed turbo anymore so 2 arnt needed neither anre the 2 for heater so start tossing just thnk where they go
D)bring to me ill clean it out with a bur to the max that we can go so still have decent bolt meat
E)glad you getting yourr hands dirty hahah

A) Arg please its not that bad...
B) Move the engine, either tilt it to the left or drop it lower so it clears the clutch master... If you do the latter then you will also be lowering your center of gravity which is another plus. Dont space one side, that is gheto...
C)Like Mical said, toss most of those pipes, the not needed.
D)Yes you should make the manifold suit the TB, but I think that TB is too big already and you are going to loose your throttle control by fitting it.

you just jealous mines bigger
ok ok.. i'll reasearch the TB size more.. i dont wanna loose torque either ..

Seems like a slightly bigger TB is the way to go

... guys say dont go bigger than 90 .. lol .. mine is only 70 or 76mm so im fine.
Apparently it'll either
A ) give no power increase at all
B ) flow more air and produce more power ( on a nicely built motor )
.. but either way it wont kill power, it'll only improve throttle response. So im willing to try it out.. in the name of science

besides im pretty sure it'll suit the rest of the engine mods to come.
yay

It will increase low throttle response, because 50% of the 76mm is 100% of the 60mm (just an example). Where you loose throttle response/control is say between 80% and 100% throttle, at 80% throttle you could be flowing more air through the TB than you engine is requiring at a certain boost, so by going from 80%-100% will make no difference or very little.

I think the S14 clutch master cyl is shorter, should sort the problem if u can find one.
