Project J&M Splicing

Hi ,
I started with my upgrades on my 200 SX CA18DET , but would like to know how much boost the stock internals can handle . Here is a list of the modifications that I am busy with :
Head gasflowed and cams done
Custom bottom mount manifold with 70mm downpipe and 76mm exhaust
Garrett T28 Ball Bearing GT2808 (270HP)
Braided oil and water line kit for turbo
HOP wing
Full bodykit with vented bonnet
Greddy oil catch tank
Gizzmo MS2 electronic boost controller
Cometic steel head gasket set
Still busy with some other stuff as well , will post pictures shortly

It all depends on your fuel delivery....if you can deliver enough fuel your turbo will max out before your internals will fail. It also depends on other supporting mods.
It is said that the standard Ca internals can handel over 400HP but my opinion is that 350HP is more relastic if all mods are well exicuted and the internals in good shape.

get a good headgasket then you can boost it.

OK, well here is a debate, go to youtube and search for , I think its either MOBNESS 200SX or MODNESS 200SX , he is currently sitting on about 750hp if I'm not mistaken... On a CA18DET

True, but that is with fully forged block, Guy spent about 20k euro`s on the motor alone, Jacquesopper is asking about stock internals?

as jy die lb\min het en die turbo chart gepaart met die 1800cc engine en bloemfontein se atmosfeer druk kan jy die beste boost vir die turbo uitwerk

met die lae lugdruk hier dink ek meer soos 210hp
al turbo wat ek kry wat naby dai een is is n GT2854R
hy rate so 27lb\min max flow op 2.1 pressure ratio

Met ander woorde...soos ek in die begin gese het...sy turbo gaan lankal uit sous uit hardloop voor sy internals breek....afhangende van fuel ens.
