Nissan 200SX Club - South Africa

Anyone have any ideas on where to get an affordable yet decent head gasket for the standard CA18DET ?

A friend of mine's SX seems to have blown the head gasket.

Yeah , I know, but they are around R1200 - R1400 and the kid doesn't have a ton of money to spend . So I said that I would find out if anyone knows of a more affordable gasket.

i got one from rezlo for 450 std one i dnt know if he still has the other one

Payen NA gasket works well too and is affordable.

I got an entire Payen DE head set for R800 from AutoZone.

you got ripped off then i got the complete set for 365 from alert engine parts hahahahha

andrew if you want i can go fetch a set they right by my house or you can have my payne head gasket for FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE im not going to use it

i see you say head set so that didnt include the complete set yoh then you got taken for a ride like i say got the complete engine gasket set for 365 or sumthing like that in the range of R300-R400

it was a long time ago i bought it so cant remember but that name does strike a fimilarity to my small brain

Mical you are a star , I have been trying to get hold of you all day to reply about the ipod aswell , but for some stupid reason I have been battling to get onto the forum...... finally on now. I will pm you in the morning.
